2008 : Rabobank Mission Control

Remember
Hein Verbruggen? His policy of 'mondilisation' for professional
cycling has resulted in our riders being scattered far and
wide across the globe and not without some embarrassing mishaps
in terms of locational awareness. As a high profile casualty
of rider's unaccountable whereabouts, Rabobank has taken a
pro-active approach to this problem and is proud to unveil
Peloton Finder 2.0 that will rollout in early 2008. Based
on cutting-edge military technology, this IT geek-fest uses
GPS to pinpoint even the most elusive of riders. Small transponders
implanted at the top of our rider's spines' transmit data
so we know where they are 24/7. So transparent are we that
we are making this data available as a live feed to the UCI
to assist their doping controls. They needn't worry though
- we're confident our happy bunch of professionals spend their
free time either putting the long hours in on the saddle or
getting that all important rest safely at home.
